What is the length & format of individual counseling sessions?
All individual counseling appointments are held virtually over Telehealth using HIPAA-compliant video software. The length of individual sessions last 50 minutes and typically take place either once a week or biweekly. We will work together to determine the frequency of sessions and create a treatment plan that aligns with your personal therapy goals.
Can I access individual counseling if I live outside the state of Colorado?
Unfortunately no, as a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) in the state of Colorado, I am only authorized to work with clients currently living in Colorado.
What is the price for an individual talk therapy session?
Please contact me about pricing. My rate starts at $125 for an individual session. Limited sliding scale options are available for those who qualify. In the state of Colorado, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost under the No Surprises Act.
Do you accept health insurance?
Unfortunately no, I am not able to accept health insurance plans at this time. However, your insurance company might cover my services as an out-of-network provider. If you use out-of-network coverage you must pay my cash-pay rate. In this case, I would provide an itemized bill for services, also referred to as a “Superbill”, which you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement each month. You are personally responsible for confirming your out-of-network benefits before we start working together.
How soon can I start therapy & when are appointments available?
Immediately! I am currently accepting clients and do not have a waitlist. If you quality for services, you can expect to start therapy typically within 1-week after requesting an appointment and completing the intake documents depending on availability and holiday scheduling. I am in the office Monday through Friday 9am-6pm. Weekends and evening are occasionally available upon request.
